Our Rental Terms
The following terms and conditions apply to all baby equipment rentals.
MINIMUM ORDERS AND CHARGES
A $50 (fifty dollars) minimum rental per order and a minimum one week's (seven nights) rental per item applies to all rental orders. Additional day charges apply for the eighth through thirteenth nights' rentals.
In addition, there is a small delivery charge per total order. TBBR offers delivery only, customer pick up is not available. In the State of Florida, a 7% sales tax applies to all orders, including delivery charges. For additional charges that may be incurred, please read this document in its entirety.
DELIVERY TO RESORTS, CONDOS, HOTELS
Having your items ready for use when you arrive at your vacation destination starts when you place your rental order. Complete and accurate information helps ensure that your delivery arrives on time. Providing incorrect or incomplete information could result in your equipment not being delivered on time.
Delivery prior to your arrival is usually between the standard check-out time of 10 a.m. and the standard 3 p.m. check-in time. In the event I am advised by the resort or hotel that the rented items are unable to be located, or I arrive at the rental home / condo and are unable to locate the items rented, I understand it is my responsibility to contact Tampa Bay Baby Rentals immediately to ascertain the placement location.
I understand I will not receive a refund for unclaimed or unused reserved items. I understand the items rented must be returned by 10 a.m. on the check-out date stated on the rental order form. Items not returned by 10 a.m. will result in a fee charged to my credit card for an additional day’s rental.
It is possible to make special arrangements for pick-up and delivery outside the times listed above. I understand that such arrangements must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
I understand that in the event rented items are damaged or not returned (including car seat instruction booklets), my credit card will be charged a pro-rated amount for the damage up to and including replacement costs. I understand that in the event items I rented required excessive cleaning and sanitizing (such as smoke, mildew, vomit, etc.) my credit card will be charged $25 per item.
DELIVERY TO PRIVATE RESIDENCES
The same conditions of delivery and rental apply as in RESORTS, CONDOS, HOTELS, except, there are no specific delivery or pick-up times, which would be dictated by guest check-in and check-out times. Deliveries and pick ups to and from private residences are scheduled at your convenience from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
DELIVERY TO AIRPORTS
TBBR makes car seat deliveries to airport car rental agencies. Delivery of other equipment to the airport is possible. Please call TBBR for more details. Please note: Cribs cannot be delivered to the airport.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Rental items pictured on the website are for illustrative purposes only. The actual item delivered will have all the features noted at the minimum, but might be a different color or design than pictured. If specific kinds or types of items are required, it is my responsibility to relay this information at the time I place my rental order. TBBR does not promise that it can fulfill special item requests, although we will make reasonable efforts to do so.
The credit card used to secure this reservation will be charged two to five business days prior to delivery. I understand that I must allow a minimum of 48 hours prior to arrival to cancel my order; otherwise a $50 minimum rental charge for the equipment will be incurred.
For the security and privacy of its customers, TBBR does not store customer credit card information, nor sell its customer information to any person or business, and will only divulge customer information if required to do so by a law enforcement agency.
Rentals must be booked a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Rentals booked less than 48 hours in advance will incur an additional $25 VIP delivery fee, if such short-notice delivery can be provided.
I agree that any and all damages to the equipment will be reported to Tampa Bay Baby Rentals, immediately. TBBR agrees to replace damaged equipment with the same or similar items as soon as practically possible.
TBBR does not install car seats in customers’ vehicles. Instruction booklets are included with the rental of car seats.
Deliveries in inclement weather: Florida’s hurricane season extends from June 1 through November 30, annually. If a hurricane / tropical storm or the threat of either making landfall is imminent, I understand that TBBR cannot make deliveries to areas that have been issued mandatory evacuation orders. In addition, flooding, severe weather and tornadoes occur at all times of the year in Florida.
In such cases of inclement weather: Deliveries will be made as soon as possible after the weather threat has passed, with a pro-rated charge. If evacuation becomes mandatory, it is my responsibility to notify TBBR, to minimize additional charges.
Purchased Essentials: TBBR sells food, formula and diaper packages that can be delivered with rental orders for the convenience of its customers. Such packages, once delivered, are NON-REFUNDABLE and cannot be returned.
TBBR reserves the right to refuse rental to any person or delivery to any location at its sole discretion.
DISCLAIMER
I agree and understand that:
TBBR is not responsible for injuries caused by misuse of equipment (including car seats and injuries caused by car accidents) or equipment assembled or disassembled by the renter or portable equipment that requires folding and unfolding by renter. Please watch your children carefully and become familiar with the equipment you have rented.
Furthermore, it is my responsibility to contact TBBR immediately if the equipment is broken or becomes otherwise unsuitable for use. Replacement equipment will be provided, if available. If equipment is not available, a refund of a percentage of that portion of the rental will be made. TBBR makes all attempts to deliver requested products. However, should products become unavailable due to situations beyond our control, a similar product may be substituted. If no substitution is available, I am entitled to compensation of no more than full refund of rental price.
